At Joe's Collision Repair Center, we restore your vehicles body to a level equal to (but most often exceeding) the original factory condition.  We take great pride in our work, and have a shop full of the latest in high technology bodyman's tools. We specialize in the reparation of the highest quality makes, such as Audi, Mercedes Benz, Saab, Volvo, Ford, General Motors, Chrysler, Honda, Volkswagen, Toyota, Nissan, Subaru and many, many more.  We repair cars and pickup trucks.

We feel it's important that consumers understand the process involved in a high quality collision repair.

The first thing that occurs is a visual "once over" - or estimate - to assess the damage your car has incurred, the parts that will need replacement and to find out if there’s any hidden damage that prevents the car from being driveable in the near term.  If a vehicle is not driveable to Joe’s Collision Repair Center, we’ll arrange to have it picked up.

Next, we get in touch with the insurance companies involved with the collision and proceed to start the claim process.  If there is the need for a rental vehicle, we have them on site. Once the claim process is completed, new parts are ordered and your vehicle is scheduled into the Joe's for repair.

The time we have a vehicle in the shop is completely dependent on the complexity of the repair.  During this time, we replace all the damage parts that cannot be straightened and we repair the parts that can be straightened. There is an art in metalworking that allows us to gently apply measured force to restore the shape of your vehicle's sheet metal.  Traditionally this has been done with a hammer and dolly.  To these time honored tools of the bodyman’s trade, we have added a precision stud welder that allows us to pull out a dent without compromising the integrity of your car's sheet metal.  We also have a frame straightener, a specialized, very large device that can apply up to 20 tons of pressure to persuade tough truck frames to return to original shape.  We use this in conjunction with our precision frame measuring tool.  At Joe's we have a variety of state of the art welders including TIG, MIG, and plasma as well as traditional torches.  We can weld aluminum, stainles steel, iron and even plastic for newer plasticized doors and bumpers. Once all the body work is completed, we apply a world class paint finish.

To create a superior automotive finish, it’s important that the color we apply accurately matches the color already on your car.  At Joe’s, we utilize a state of the art color matching system that matches color not just to the year, make and model, but to the actual Vehicle Identification Number of your individual vehicle.  Second, no talks about a high quality finish without acknowleging the importance of the downdraft baking oven.  This piece of equipment is actually an entire specialized room, and allows us to apply automotive finishes in any weather, has a dust-free filtered environment, and provides a temperature controlled heating process to literally bake the finish onto the vehicle.  Next, after a precision blending of paints, we create a test panel to verify the color match.  Once the match is verified under full spectrum lighting, then the artwork of applying super-even coats occurs which results in a superior repair that matches or exceeds the factory finish.

The highest quality autobody repair requires experience, the best tools, the best environment and the best people.  At Joe’s Collision Repair Center, we have it all.
